As a contractor for the Virginia Highland District Association, I work on many projects including social media, event branding and marketing, and photography.
Visit WebsiteI started working with the Virginia Highland District (VHD) on their inaugural Winterfest in June of 2021. The event needed a brand identity as well as marketing materials and more. The idea stemmed from German Holiday markets influencing my choice of typeface, a modern blackletter called Osgard.
Using assets created by a fellow designer and myself, I created posters, social media posts, banners, and sponsorship packets for VHD's 2nd annual Porchfest event.
The Virginia Highland District hosts a variety of community and volunteer events. Each one has a unique brand identity that ties back into the larger VHD brand through color and typography. Using guest typefaces gives each micro event it's own personality.
